GUJCET 2025 Registration

Kolkata: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has started the Gujarat Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2025 applications application process on the official website at gujcet.gseb.org till December 31, 2024. Students in Gujarat must take the GUJCET exam for engineering and pharmacy diploma and degree courses. JEE Main 2025 is not allowed for admission to the above-mentioned programs in Gujarat. The exam will cover subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology (for Pharmacy) or Mathematics (Engineering). 

What is the GUJCET 2025 Application Process?

Check out the following points to know the GUJCET 2025 application process:

  • Step 1: Visit gujcet.gseb.org and a login window will appear. There you will find an option labelled as "Click Here for New Candidate Registration." Click on it.
  • Step 2: Fill out all the required details and click on "Register".
  • Step 3: Navigate to the login window again. Then login with your registered email ID / mobile and password.
  • Step 4: Pay the fee through SBI ePay System (Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking) / At any SBI Branch of the country through SBi ePay Option of "SBI Branch Payment and complete the application form online.
  • Step 5: Submit and download the confirmation page for your records.

GUJCET 2025 Application Guidelines

GSEB has instructed the following guidelines for the GUJCET 2025:

  • Scanned Photo and Signature (.jpg/.jpeg format with resolution of at least 300 DPI).
  • Attachments must be between 5KB and 50KB in size, approximately 120x120 pixels, and clearly visible.
  • A white or very light backdrop is required for the photograph.
  • Face must be clearly visible, occupying about half the photo.
  • Full face view with direct eye contact.
  • No hair, clothing, or shadows obstructing facial features.
  • Forehead, eyes, nose, cheeks, lips, and chin must be clearly exposed.
  • Avoid mobile phone photos.
  • Candidates should wear clear glasses only.
  • Attachments must be easily visible to avoid rejection.

What's After the GUJCET 2025 Application Process?

After the online application process, GSEB will open the edit window for updating any discrepancy in the GUJCET 2025 application form. However, the correction dates are not yet disclosed by the exam authority. Then, the admit cards will be issued on the official website and exams will be conducted as per the official schedule.

Ans: The GUJCET 2025 exam will be based on the NCERT syllabus for Gujarat class 12 and will be held on March 23, 2025. Be sure to check the official website of GUJCET for the syllabus and exam pattern.

Ans: While GUJCET and JEE Main are considered equally challenging, preparing for JEE Main can help you pass GUJCET. GUJCET primarily focuses on the Gujarat state board syllabus. However, solely preparing for GUJCET won't be enough for JEE Main, which requires a deeper conceptual understanding.

Ans: GUJCET cutoffs will be available on gujacpc.admissions.nic.in after each counselling round. The exam authority releases branch-wise and institute-wise different cutoff lists.
